Beach B&B

Very lovely setting, spacious and comfortable. Our host was very welcoming but respectful of our privacy. We really appreciated the range of fruit and breakfast options. The location was quiet with easy access to town.

The amenities were excellent, very spacious and well-appointed. Linda and Brent were friendly and hospitable. Brent kindly drove me to my restaurant, and even came back at short notice to take me back to the B&B when I received news that necessitated my leaving for Auckland immediately. So I cannot give a full review as I didn't stay the night, but I appreciated the breakfast provisions I took to sustain me on my trip back to Auckland. Would definitely recommend and I would stay there again.

Beach BnB provides an excellent breakfast, muesli with fresh fruit and yoghurt as well as bread for toasting with a wide range of spreads, and of course tea and coffee.

It was rather odd not to have a sink in the kitchen so the very pleasant hosts would collect used dishes and return them later.

Brent hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, das Bad aussergewöhlich gross und das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen und würden auch jederzeit wieder hier übernachten.

One of the best B&B's we have ever stayed at. Linda and Brent were fantastic hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Great accommodation and breakfast.

Nothing. Everything was perfect

We stayed at the Beach B&B for one night. The hosts were friendly and provided a nice basic continental breakfast as described in the booking. I found this review a little tricky to write, as I chose this accommodation based on other positive reviews but found it wasn’t quite what I was expecting. The room is attached to the main house, with three doors leading into their living areas. While this may not be an issue for everyone, I personally prefer a bit more privacy and found it unsettling that they could enter the room at any time. I also noticed that the hosts passed by the glass sliding door a few times while we were in the bedroom, which made me feel a little uncomfortable. Additionally, the property isn’t within walking distance to the beach. Late at night, when the owners returned home after midnight, I was woken by the security light, car doors, and the sound of footsteps on the nearby stairs which were right next to the bedroom area. Overall, the hosts were kind and welcoming, but this setup may suit travelers who don’t mind a more shared-style accommodation.

It wasn't the quiet little B&B I thought I was booking.
