Hewling's Manor

Julie was a perfect host and made our stay a perfect experience.

The room was very cosy, everything was clean and well kept. The host is extremely friendly and welcoming but also respects your privacy. Will definitely visit Geraldine again and stay at the hewlings manor if we get a chance to.

We had a weird experience (see below) but bed was comfy and super sweet dog.

Felt like we were rushed/ an inconvenience to the host. No privacy. Asked us to leave early so she could get to work and asked to come in our room and strip the bed before we had checked out. No lock on bedroom door. Some smaller details missed like no body wash in shower and little snacks served as tea/breakfast were spoiled. Overall not a great experience for us and felt the cost was not worth it.

Breakfast was really good with everything we needed. It was especially nice to have a fridge on hand and a spacious living room with side breakfast room all to ourselves. Bathroom was really nice. We had a good portion of the house to ourselves actually and our hostess was very considerate. The home was beautiful and in a very quiet peaceful setting close to town. Garden was gorgeous too!

Perhaps some suitcase racks or a place to put a bag as space was limited for our things, but only due to the many beautiful furnishings in the room itself. It was very homely.

In a peaceful area of the town, surrounded by well tended gardens. Easy short walk into town. Very comfortable bed and helpful host.
