Beautiful view, Up in the Hills looking back at Sea View and Napier city and port. Peaceful, private, very relaxing and comfortable (spacious for 2!). Cozy living area to relax after a days sight seeing. Very nice hosts and cute dog. Great base to explore Hawkes Bay if you have a car. If we back in town would stay again.

Stunning location and the views were breathtaking. Mark and Shelly made us feel really welcome. Bedrooms and bathrooms were beautifully decorated. Lounge ideal for lazing away the evening. Only point to note, although the kitchen was ok for us I would imagine anymore than two people would be a struggle to manage. Lovely pub grub only 20 mins away.

Mark and Shelly are friendly and accommodating, and clearly want you to feel welcome and enjoy your stay, The rural setting is lovely, and the bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious.

This is not an apartment, it's more a homestay, you are staying in the same building as the hosts, albeit separated by an internal door (that you can not lock). The hosts are also early risers, so we were woken every morning by various noises from downstairs. The pool and surrounding gardens are beautiful, however they are not "private" as advertised. The pool is adjacent to the hosts' living area, so there is actually no privacy at all. Having booked specifically for the "private pool", this was a bit disappointing. The kitchenette is inadequate and can not really be used to cook anything beyond toast and coffee.
