Thoughtful preparations by owners who were unfortunately away, but sent messages making us feel very welcome. The lovely chickens also made us welcome! Breakfast included delicious home preserved apricots. The garden was a delight and the views great. Overall very peaceful.

We expected to be near Invercargill and that might have been a concern but we were on a loose schedule and we got good advice on what to see from Gore.
