Aroha Riccarton Bed and Breakfast

Very convenient location

Wish we had our own bathroom, but the listing told us that we did not so we were expecting to share.

Wonderful friendly hosts, good facilities which are kept very clean and looked after. The location is fantastic - a quiet road but only a short walk to shops and cafes.

The breakfast was rather underwhelming, and on the first morning we were not provided with anywhere near enough milk. The TV had Sky channels but none of the local NZ channels.

Very convenient for what we needed

Bed too soft and uncomfortable. No sink in the toilet and if other guests were using bathroom you were unable to wash your hands, sanitiser was provided but that’s not really suitable for toilet use.

Kind, welcoming, friendly, helpful, informative, but never intrusive hosts. Excellent facilitiess, nice breakfast, comfy beds. Loved the peaceful tranquil location handy to, but not in the city. This also made for a lovely bikes into the CBD through Riccarton Bush and Hagley Park. Perfect in every way. Loved staying here.

They were the perfect hosts

I can't speak highly enough of the bnb hosts, they are two of the most caring and kind people I could've asked to stay with! I had just been omitted from hospital after having knee surgery and they went above and beyond to make me feel at home. The bed was very comfortable, shower was spot on and the lounge/ breakfast area was great, also there was a great selection for the breakfast. Would definitely stay again, thank you Olive and don!
