R & D Island Lodge

The staff is very accommodating. She helped us arrange our tours and coordinate with the tricy driver. There is a goldilocks in front. Accommodation is near the market and restaurants. Kota beach is walking distance from the place, aroung 5-8 minutes. There is a beach nearby which is like 2-3 minute walk from the place. Port is also near.

The room needs some maintenance. The aircon would take a while to really make the room cold.

Not too expensive, comfy, staff is very friendly (gave me hot water for my coffee) and location is near kota beach and Mj square. There is a cafe, convenience store, pharmacy nearby. All walkable from the property.

We went last march. The aircon can’t handle the heat during noon time, but no problem in the evening.

perfect location, had a private bathroom and cool air conditioning.

The room smelt really bad (sort of sulphur like) and it wasn’t coming from the drains in the bathroom so that was almost more unpleasant. The smell also wasn’t the sort you get used to over time. Glad we only stayed one night.
