Ibla Barocca

I can honestly say that this is the best place we have ever stayed. Amalia was very welcoming and a delightful lady. Her English is impeccable. She gave us lots of good tips about which restaurants to go to. Our rooms were just beautiful with amazing views of Old Ragusa. It was such a shame we couldn't have stayed longer. One of the restaurants that was recommended was Ristorante ll Barocco. I had some of the best pasta I've ever tasted there and across the road is a very unassuming bar which served craft beer - just brilliant! We met so many lovely, friendly people who worked in the restaurants and bars there. They really made us feel very welcome. We will most definitely stay for longer next time and will make sure we stay at Ibla Barocca. It was amazing, thank you Amalia 😊

There really isn't anything we didn't like. However, the very narrow, steep roads are not for the faint-hearted. And if you have mobility issues, the walks around the town are steep and sometimes with lots of steps, so may be a problem. There are a lot of very steep steps at this property. Otherwise, I can't wait until we return to Old Ragusa and Ibla Barocca ❤️

Accommodation was spotless and comfortable. The bottom (cave) unit which we stayed in had it;s own access to the street below which made it easier to get in and out of the property. Host was welcoming and friendly with great recommendations to the local restaurants and sites to visit.

The accommodation is modern, clean and spacious enough for a family. It's within walking distance of the main attractions of the charming Ragusa Ibla, and there are also places to eat close by. Parking is available right next to the front door. The host Giovanni and his mum were also excellent and very helpful.
