Pakchong hostel & wildlife tour

The perfect place to stay to visit Khao yai national park. The tour was great, we saw gibbons, elephants and porcupines. Respectful of the wildlife unlike other cars that got way too close to the elephants. Lovely owner who picked us up when we arrived and waited for us to have dinner at the night market. He helped us to get the right bus the day we left too. Super fast internet.

The shower wasn't the best, most of the holes were blocked.

the hostel is no frills, as the price reflects, but it is clean and everything you need including all the littlest water you can drink is provided. breakfast was ready at time that worked for me. the owner was amazing at putting together a Khoi Yai National park tour I will never forget! lots of animals, beautiful scenery, and great food throughout the day. his local knowledge added a whole other dimension to my stay that you just don’t find in bigger hotel properties/tours.

We did not really expect much when bookings this stay. However, everything exceeded our expectations. The room was really basic and what you would expect for this price. However, the host Mr Nong really exceeds all expectations. If you are looking for an amazing tour through Khao Yai, I would highly recommend booking this stay in combination with a tour at this hostel. The tour guide is capable of speaking English and knows a lot about the park.

Owner was so nice. He made me feel incredibly welcome as if I was member of his family. Picked me up from bus terminal and helped to organise tour at khao yai national park. that was not related to his. 2000baht for 3 hr jungle trek with guide and then after he drove us (2 other customers) all around the park until 6pm to show us animals (gibbons, deer, crocodile, owls, and chase elephants !), knowing that we didn't see any on our tour (unusual). He commentated as guide and photographer. Great photos sent to me on same night. Free WiFi and he makes breakfast (sasauge, sunny side up egg, toast, coffee, tea) . I felt safe and enjoyed the trip

Accommodation is simple but sufficient. Price is on higher side of tours but 100% worth it.

everything, perfect place big room big bed in reality is so much better than in the pictures! the owner is an amazing guy and you can do the tour in khaoyai with him. also he gives you an amaz breakfast and water. totally worth it

Very friendly owner. He picked us up from the train station and even arranged a drop-off when we were leaving without charging anything. He also drove us to a 5 when we didn't get any food on the way from a very long day trip. Simple breakfast included. Motorbike and bicycle rentals are available.

It was a bit out of the center, but there actually not really any stays in the center. The double bed was a bit small for 2 people.

spacious room and really great host. Probably the best price you can get for the Khao Yai tour and he’s a great guide, be aware that the price for the tour is a little bit higher than 1500 if you’re only with 2 or 3 (we were with 3, it was 1600 per person so still a great price!!)

matrass a bit hard and relatively far from the center, but if Mr. Nong is available he will just pick you up, he even drove back to the nightmarket to get us eventhough he had already driven home😊

The owner is very helpful and friendly, i really enjoyed my stay there. Nice place, quiet and not so far from the city center. I just can recommande this place !
