Very authentic house - felt very much like walking into your grandmothers home in Malta. Location was nice and close to the airport.

Although location was great for the airport, it was a bit long of a trek to other sites/places to visit which made it expensive to try and get around using bolts and buses :( The woman who hosted was nice enough to let me check in quite late as my flight arrived at 4 am - not fun! I had booked for 20th -21st arriving at 4 am on the 20th (check in was 10 AM). I thought she was being kind and letting me come early however I was woken up with her entering my room telling me I had to pay for two nights. I understood where she was coming from and although unexpected I was happy to pay. I didn’t however enjoy someone coming into my room :( this felt invasive and very unsafe. Carrying onto the following day, I had made a friend and we wanted to go explore - because checkout was quite early (10 AM) we asked if it was ok for me to leave my luggage for the day - she agreed which was very kind and mentioned that she didn’t care as long as MY room was empty :) I left my bags in my (new) friends room and we decided to go to the temples, the grotto and Valetta - all amazing places to recommend if you’re in Malta. When we arrived, the host was incredibly upset. Telling me I was disrespectful as she let me leave my bags and she stayed up all night worrying about us? We were quite confused and of course, felt awful. Not the way I wanted to end my stay. Things felt a little too close for comfort here. Like your grandmother scolding you for coming home late? I am a 32 year old woman that felt incredibly small in this moment and solely for this reason (no personal space or safety) would I not stay here again :( I appreciate the concern but could have done without the scolding for 30 minutes.

Hosts were lovely. Friendly, welcoming and attentive. They live downstairs. Guests in 3 rooms upstairs with shared bathroom which was not an issue. Two beaches (sandy or rocky) less than 10 minute walk and also mini mart & restaurants. Bus stop around the corner. Easy walk to main town and another beach. Breakfast was included... bread/toast, jam, cereal, cheese, yoghurt & drinks which was enough for me. Airport about 10-15 minute drive. Enjoyed my stay at Dynasty. Thank you.

A kettle would great (I travel with teas bags & cup). A guest fridge also nice to keep drinks & any food cold. Don't always want to eat out but need fridge for salads, cheese & cooked meats etc.

Ability to check in late, I appreciated that thank you The friendliness of the hosts, such a sweet old couple.

Cleanliness levels could be improved. Items in drawers and cupboards in the bedroom, used as a dumping ground for hosts stuff. The area leading up to the roof 'terrace' a space that could be made lovely is a messy storage area. If you incorporated that into the room and made it nice, you could charge more, access to own private roof terrace with tables chairs etc up there would look amazing. Luckily the ant parade was going along the wall and under the bedroom door, so they didn't bother me. Where the huge cockroach came from I don't know, I wonder if he is still under the bed where I trapped him? Could do with sweeping and mopping under there a bit more thorough really A little touch like a bottle of water as a welcome, would have been good, as after a long journey, no shops open, I was really thirsty, and didn't think the tap water in the bathroom would be nice.
