Casa de la Abuela

Lovely place and wonderful owners and staff. Breakfast were very good and kept us fuelled for very active days right through to supper time! The grounds were impeccably maintained and a pleasure to spend time there.

Nothing. But a slight note of caution, the hotel is on the hillside at the edge of the town and after a busy day a good climb to get back up there.

Everything about this place is special, the staff are all extremely friendly and accommodating any requests you may have. The grounds are gorgeous and immaculately well kept, the pool is perfect temperature and the breakfast is outstanding aswell!. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here

Everything was perfect!

Charming, great view. Expect to need a ride up and down the hill with suitcases.

Lightbulb was out in my room.

Breakfast was excellent. Location was a little far from the lakeside considering the cobblestone streets and unreliable sidewalks in town. But all and all it was very nice.

Staff was outstanding. Very quiet and the breakfast was super. Very nice that there was a small refrigerator in the room! The design of the facility is very eye appealing, very Mexican feeling. The plants and flowers give you the feeling that you're in museum.

Because of the location and all the 1 way streets and cars blocking paths, at times it can be a challenge to get there but that's not the hotels fault.

The garden and pool areas are gorgeous.

The breakfast itself was very good.

The eating area was outdoors and in January at 8:30 a.m. none too warm.
