This is a family owned and run property. Everyone was so friendly, warm and really wanted to make sure I had a wonderful stay, which I did. Breakfast was delightful. The garden is so beautiful. Truly the most enjoyable week. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

"A little slice of heaven."

The property was spectacular. The owners and staff were proactive every day maintaining the property and facilities. You can really see they have a lot of pride in their property. One on the most serene places I have ever stayed at. Housekeeping was the best too.

Beautiful grounds and the owners and staff were very eager to help when I had questions or needed transportation.

"Excellent stay in Casa de la Abuela in Ajijic"

Property is excellent. Facilities include a swimming pool and barbecue area. Room is spacious with a king bed and a lake view. Breakfast is awesome, specially cooked by the owner herself. Service is also excellent by the staff as well as the family members who manage the hotel.

It is about 15 minute walk to the center and the lake on a cobblestone road that is not in a good condition. Of course, it is not hotel’s responsibility, but it is to caution people with physical challenges.

The quaint Mexican style and decor.

Walking down cobblestone 4 blocks for 80+ people isn’t fun. We’d take a taxi back. No big deal.
