Quite nearby to first world hotel, around 12 mins, the owner quite friendly and talkative, give a misteri gift to us during the checkout time, quite surprised, 5 star accommodation. Will come back again next time.

Just the view from the window, but you can get this view from other place that’s safe. There is also a 24/7 market on the lobby area.

I’m appalled the moment I stepped into the lift area. This is NOT A SUITABLE place for visitors, this is actually a hostel for construction workers and other foreign workers working in Genting area. When I got into the apartment, I noticed myself smelling like curry and we later realized because there is a worker’s canteen close to the lift area and the waft of curry smell has seeped into our clothes. The bathroom is not clean, there are cumulated dirt around the faucet. We left after 20 minutes because we were extremely uncomfortable with the way the construction workers/building residents were staring at us. We tried getting a Grab taxi and no one was willing to come to our area. I later understand that this building (Amber Court) has a reputation for being haunted but I personally think it’s the people that we were more afraid of. The apartment owner was not forthcoming with the location of this property. She had sent me the latitude and longitude of this place and only provided the address after I pressed her for it as I needed to enter it in Grab app. Once I saw the reviews, I understood everything now. It’s not worth skimming on a safe and comfortable environment to stay during your vacation. I do not recommend this place at all, unless, you enjoy being stared down like fresh meat. The building security “helped” us get a ride to the centre and he wasn’t able to give me an actual price, he quoted RM 15-20 (Grab quoted RM 10), though it was overpriced, we paid it anyway because we couldn’t leave this place any faster.

I like the owner. She is kind and friendly also detail oriented. As soon as you have booked you will receive all information regarding your stay via WhatsApp. The room is also good and spacious for 5 person. Best part is the view. It has really amazing view from balcony.

It's located in such place that you can't walk anywhere aside from the help of a vehicle. But then again in Genting, you don't have much place to visit. There are lots of guys in living in the building who probably are workers from around so it might be uncomfortable for female guests.

All amenities available and good for a family visiting Genting Highlands. KK Mart and Cafe is located at convenience. Shuttle service is good and when returning can take same shuttle or a Grab.
