Love the setup which is close to the nature. The room was so clean. The host was very pleasant. The chef was so kind to serve us even when we ordered after the specified time.

I know it's a nature retreat but in the afternoon it's too hot. Nice to have the air-conditioning.

"Great views and good food, but the rooms and facilities are average."

The highlight of staying at De Serenity is definitely the view, it’s truly beautiful and makes the location feel very special. Breakfast was good and a nice way to start the day, and the dinner served at the property was also tasty. The room had hot water, which was great after a long day out, and while the bed wasn’t anything particularly special, it was comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep.

Check-in wasn’t the smoothest experience, as I had to look around for someone to help check me in when I arrived. There are also quite a lot of mosquitoes in the area, so it’s worth coming prepared. The room itself is fairly small and feels a bit run down. Another thing to note is that dinner is charged separately, and even if you are staying alone you still have to pay the price for two people. Wi-Fi is not included and needs to be paid for, but unfortunately it was barely usable during my stay, at times I couldn’t even load a webpage.

Lovely, freshly prepared breakfast. Very comfortable accommodation. Superb pool looking out over the tree canopy. The most friendly & helpful owners & staff .... I could go on but in essence, wonderful

Villa is spacious with many areas in the unit to relax. Amenities are sufficient.

Additional charges for wifi. No shampoo in toilets Barbeque pit is 1 floor below kitchen which can be quite inconvenient
