Casa Coloridos

This place was a real treat. The owners, Ans and Steve, are lovely people and it was a pleasure to chat with them. The room is cozy and filled with interesting touches, tea, coffee and extra treats. The bed is comfortable, the shower is great and the breakfast was delicious. It was a great place to stay for our visit to Obidos. There is an appealing looking outdoor pool, which, unfortunately, we didn't get to dip into in the winter. It would be great to hang out there on a hot summer day.

Note that if you don't have a car, the house is a solid 30-40 minute hike to Obidos. We really enjoyed the walk, through the countryside, but we did take a Bolt back to the house at night. Bolt and Uber are easily accessible, and inexpensive, from both Obidos and the bus station in Calda da Rainhas.

Lovely home stay with a friendly and sweet Dutch couple and a dog. Comfy room, the best decor ever, healthy breakfast and an amazing pool - too bad it's Winter and 10 degrees :) There's only 2 rooms, so it's super quiet. Parking at the property and outside. Short driving distances to Obidos, Peniche, Caldas, etc.
