Es war ein wunderbar liebevoll eingerichtetes Zimmer. Alles war sehr sauber und die Gastgeberin hätte nicht besser sein können. Das Frühstück war auch außergewöhnlich gut und wir haben viele gute Reisetipps erhalten. Wir würden jeder Zeit wieder kommen. Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln. Mit Abstand die Beste Unterkunft die wir über booking je gebucht haben. Ein wirklich besonderes Erlebnis!

Alles war perfekt. Man fühlte sich von Anfang an sehr willkommen. Die Gastgeberin war sehr herzlich und umsorgend. Jeden Morgen wurden wir mit einem aussergewöhnliches Frühstück verwöhnt . Sie gab uns viele Tipps für Restaurants und Aktivitäten. Das Zimmer war sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Man merkte, dass hier sehr viel Herzblut dahintersteckt. Der Garten stand den Gästen zur alleinigen Nutzung zur Verfügung. Wir fühlten uns sehr sehr wohl und würden sofort wiederkommen.

Nothing to talk about everything was PERFECT

Dieses wunderschön eingerichtetes Zimmer mit einer grossen Fensterfront durften wir für drei Nächte geniessen. Der ganze Garten und der Pool standen uns zur alleinigen Nutzung zur Verfügung und wir hatten so eine grosse Privatsphäre. Joana, unsere Gastgeberin war sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Sie gab uns tolle Restauranttipps und sonstige interessante Informationen zur Umgebung. Das Frühstück war hervorragend und mit viel Liebe von unserer Gastgeberin zubereitet. Wir sind am Abend meistens mit einem Uber zum Essen gefahren, das hat super funktioniert aber man wäre auch zu Fuss in ca. 25 Minuten mitten in der Altstadt. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder diese Unterkunft buchen.

We spent a whole week here. It was really relaxing and wonderful. The garden is private, beautiful and clean. We had the pool and the whole garden to ourselves and really enjoyed it. The water in the pool was always clean and not too cold. Simply perfect. The room and bathroom are beautifully furnished and really clean. You can tell that the host Joana has an eye for interior design. Every centimetre is lovingly decorated. She is very caring and the heart of this place. Even at breakfast, the table was set differently every day, with beautiful cutlery and heavenly views and tranquillity. If we come back to the Algarve we will 100% come back to this place. As others have already commented here, you come as a guest and leave as a friend. Hope to see you again, thank you Joana.

Our stay was simply perfect. Joana and her husband are truly wonderful hosts — warm, caring, and incredibly attentive. Joana goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home, while always respecting their privacy. The room was beautifully decorated, fully equipped, and absolutely spotless. The entire property, including the private garden and pool, was immaculate, with daily cleaning adding an extra touch of comfort. Breakfast, lovingly prepared by Joana each morning, was a highlight — creative, delicious, and beautifully presented. We looked forward to it every day! We also appreciated the great local tips and restaurant recommendations, which helped us make the most of our time. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and left feeling more relaxed than ever. We highly recommend this beautiful place!

Best Service I’ve Ever Received – Wonderful Humans! My wife and I stayed for 5 nights. Staying in Lagos was an incredible experience, and that’s all thanks to Joanne and Pedro. They provided the best service I’ve ever received — truly going above and beyond in every possible way. When I became unexpectedly sick during my stay, Joanne took such compassionate care of me. They also stepped in to help resolve a frustrating car rental issue and even took care of my laundry. Their kindness, thoughtfulness, and genuine warmth were absolutely heartwarming. The location itself is perfect — nestled in a beautiful, up-and-coming neighborhood with stunning architecture and a peaceful, welcoming vibe. Every single detail has been executed with precision (the bedding is fabulous, the decor gorgeous and everything smells so fresh, as if you are staying at a spa). Joanne and Pedro are truly wonderful humans, and staying here felt less like a booking and more like being welcomed by family. If you're looking for a place to stay in Lagos — this is it. You won’t find better hosts anywhere.

It's a European thing, but the mattress could have used some extra padding for added back/hip support. Overall, this would not deter me from staying again!
