Downtown Hideaway, B&B Grand Deluxe

The hideaway was spotlessly clean and kept to a very high standard. The in room breakfast was delicious and unlimited coffee hit the spot! It’s a very interesting accommodation, which has been tastefully decorated and you can see a lot of thought has went into its design. The bed was super comfortable and we both had an excellent nights sleep on both evenings we stayed, the area was very peaceful and there was zero noise throughout the night.

Not a dislike, but more of a personal preference. I like to watch a movie in bed when I’m away, so it would have been nice to have the TV in the room :)

There are two types of excellent hospitality. The one that feels professional and delivers value for the money you pay. And one that goes above and beyond your expectations, exceeds the boundaries of a professional service, to offer you a unique experience. The latter can describe my experience at the Hideaway B&B. Both the garden and the house are meticulously designed to offer the feeling of uniqueness. I was there for work, so all work amenities were also present. The outside space is amazing and very well thought of. The selection of handmade breakfast options, the personal service, the interesting discussions, are just some of the things that put the Hideaway B&B above any other short term rental experience I’ve had. And I’ve been to 35 countries. I could go on for hours about this place, but I guess it’s better you visit and find out for yourselves.

Ons verblijf bij Downtown Hideaway B&B was werkelijk een droom. Vanaf het eerste moment werden we warm ontvangen door Frans en Hetty, die een perfecte balans weten te vinden tussen behulpzaamheid en privacy. Ze staan altijd klaar om te helpen – of het nu gaat om een restaurant reserveren of gewoon een vriendelijke tip voor een mooie wandeling – maar laten je tegelijkertijd volledig vrij om op je eigen tempo te genieten. De locatie is perfect: je loopt zó het charmante stadscentrum in, alles is op loopafstand. En toch voelt het alsof je je in een oase van rust bevindt. De B&B ligt verscholen achterin een prachtige, perfect onderhouden tuin waar je helemaal tot jezelf kunt komen. Alles ademt aandacht en liefde voor detail: van de kussens die bij de vijver klaar liggen om comfortabel naar de vissen te kijken, tot de stoelenset met zonnehoeden, een verrekijker en een vogelboek om vogels uit het nabijgelegen natuurgebied te spotten. Het huis is smaakvol ingericht en tot in de puntjes verzorgd. En dan het ontbijt… wat een feest! Iedere ochtend was het weer een culinair hoogtepunt, met verse producten, prachtige presentatie en heerlijke smaken. De gastvrouw is zonder twijfel een ware chefkok. Volgende keer – want dat er een volgende keer komt, staat voor ons vast – laten we ons extra verwennen met alles wat zij te bieden heeft. Zelfs bij een kopje thee werd er gedacht aan de kleinste verwennerijen: verse gember en limoen standaard op tafel. Alles is doordacht, liefdevol verzorgd en tot in de puntjes geregeld. Kortom: Downtown Hideaway B&B is een uitzonderlijke plek waar je helemaal tot rust komt, maar ook volop kunt genieten van alles wat de stad en de natuur te bieden hebben. Een absolute aanrader!

Helemaal niks

Prachtige, zeer schone en luxe B&B. Hoewel het in hartje Eindhoven ligt, is het er toch zeer rustig en stil. Met super vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw, die je het helemaal naar het zin proberen te maken. Reageren direct op berichten. Fijn, groot bed en prachtige tuin met diverse zitjes. Het à la carte ontbijt is geweldig en zeer royaal. In de directe omgeving veel groen waar je prachtig kunt wandelen en fietsen.

Zou het niet weten.
