DEModern mini Apartment in the outskirts of Meppel. Bathroom was nice, very safe neighborhood, clean and nicely furbished. It is a room in the garage-building with a door to the garden. This garden is the private garden of the owners, so you are literally in their backyard. It was extremely cold in the beginning because of the low outside temperatures and it took the heating several hours to bring the room up to an acceptable temperature. Maybe it could be a consideration to turn the heating on before the guests arrive.
Communication could be better beforehand. We did not know that no one would be there when we arrive what would have been nice to know. We had to call to learn where the apartment was. Directly below the window are some hens and a cock, he takes his job of waking everybody early very seriously.
DEIndependent entrance , all as advertised , neat and clean. Good for a short stay over. Value for money Big property with nice garden.
Property next to busy road ( property wall = noise protection wall, a few meters from room. Highway not far away- clearly hearable with open door and in garden.
