Clean and bed was very comfortable

Large, clean, comfortable room with a huge balcony and views of the valley. The location at a trail head to the gorgeous schist villages trail system was a plus.

The hotel felt understaffed as the employees were multitasking between running the shop, the restaurant and the hotel. They bordered on indifference. I did get detailed help on getting back home, as buses are rare to these parts. Paula graciously called someone who works for the bus company and I got accurate information on how to get home. The fact that they run a restaurant and a store, I believe, was the reason they didn’t want to give me extra portions of coffee. There were two pods on day 1, after which I was supposed to buy everything (including water) downstairs. This seemed particularly miserly.

It has been modernised since we last stayed We miss the bath which is now a shower The rooms used to be cleaned daily and the bottled water replaced but no longer There is no kettle in the room and the cafe is closed all day on Tuesdays so no breakfast or any beverages or meals

The room and bathroom were nice and clean. They had a small market in the house and a cafe, though no options for gluten free. It was not relevant for my needs.

There was no kitchen, nor water cattle. They had a coffee machine with 1 capsule each. There weren't even a possibility for making tea.
