Ontvangst en huis waren fantastisch. Goed ontbijt en prima bed. Locatie (50 meter lopen) en kwaliteit van het door een van gastvrouwen gereserveerde plaatselijke restaurant was fantastisch en gezellig.

Niet echt een klacht, maar jammer dat enkele buren weinig tot niets aan hun eigendom doen waardoor de locatie gedevalueerd wordt. Gelukkig bevind je je na het betreden van de binnenplaats en tuin met de palmen in een klein paradijsje. Ligt wel een aantal kilometers buiten Obidos.

Hartelijke ontvangst door de 2 eigenaressen, met Liqor de Ginja. Persoonlijk aandacht, tips voor de omgeving, fijne gesprekken en een heerlijk ontbijt met vers fruit en scrambled eggs.

Theresa was very welcoming when we arrived, Janice came & spoke to us a bit later she was also very welcoming. Theresa explained how everything worked. Everything was just perfect for us. Spotlessly clean, hot shower, lovely towels, toiletries, a comfy big bed, & pillows, Coffee machine, kettle, fresh milk in the fridge, variety of tea bags, little sweeties in little bowl, wine glasses, cherry liqueur. A bench & a table & chairs to sit on the terrace. Great selection for breakfast- cheeses, hams, cereals, croissants, fresh juice, tea, & a coffee machine. Theresa made us lovely scrambled eggs Theresa called a cab for us & gave us the name of a lovely restaurant, the local one was closed So we went the next night (5 min walk) Lovely food & huge portions. ( The wine was good too) Thank you so much Theresa & Janice for making our stay memorable & the best stay of our touring holiday … (One thing if you want to go to Pena Palace make sure you book in advance, if you go to the gardens as well wear good shoes it’s all cobbles. A took took or taxi are very reasonable to take you & bring you back.)

It was a very nice stay. The hosts are so friendly. The room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast was provided. Highly recommended!

"Best Friends Visit"

The home is beautiful in and out and was located in a very comfortable setting with an outside terrace to greet you. Teresa was a wonderful host, provided the most wonderful breakfast and was extremely helpful.
