Bed & Breakfast Bloemen Vertellen

Zeer ruime, nette kamer met heerlijk ontbijt (wel apart bijboeken). Er ontbrak ons niets.

Een hartelijke ontvangst door gastvrouw Corine, twee enorm ruime kamers met goede voorzieningen waaronder een expresso apparaat, en een heerlijk ontbijt. Een mooi ruim huis met leuke inrichting

De vriendelijke gastvrouw, de leuke zitjes in de fraaie tuin zijn heerlijk om even te vertoeven en het ontbijt was gewoon erg smakelijk, ruim voldoende en we konden zelfs nog een broodje meenemen voor tijdens de fietstochten. Kortom voor herhaling vatbaar en zeer aan te bevelen.!

Poeh... er viel eigenlijk niets tegen hoor, maar als ik een tip mag geven is wat meer aankleding in de badkamer wel leuk misschien. Die is echt héél ruim maar wel een tikkeltje kaal in verhouding tot de kamer en het sfeervolle huis.

It is a nice and relatively spacious room with a seperate batthoorm / WC. It certainly has its old-fashioned charm and allows to experience an authentic Dutch vibe. There are many small details (e.g. electric candles) that make the stay feel very cosy and nice. All was clean. The bed mattress was on the soft side, but I found both bed and pillows to be comfortable. We got a chance to park our car for free of charge right at the front of the house which was very convenient. Otherwise you can park your car on the nearby (50m) Houweg street. Owner is easily reachable via whatsapp.

It would be nice to have the information about the breakfast arrangements directly under "General info" when you click on the room options in Booking.com. Somehow we totally missed to read that (i) breakfast had to be discussed in advance with the owner and (ii) it costs EUR 12.50 per person. Maybe it is a good idea for the owner to proactively ask their guests if the latter wish breakfast as part of the pre-arrival communication? I know that ultimately food information can be found - but when you are in a vacation mode, often times you just want to relax and not to search every detail for every place you stay in. We arrived quite late the night before (we took a key from the locker vs meeting the owner, as she was not around) and expected a breakfast in the morning (I guess this was just a [wrong] assumption based on our past B&B experiences). But there was none. It turned out later (after I proactively asked the owner via whatsapp if there will be some breakfast), that we should have told her in advance. So that morning I went to a local grocery store & bakery to get some food. If there are other guests upstairs or the owners behind the wall (they seem to live in the same house), you can hear the floors creecking under their steps. It is an old house after all.

Mooi pand met authentieke details. Goede bedden, fijne douche, goed ontbijt. De tuin is prachtig!

Niets

Een mooie kamer, een vriendelijke host, een grote badkamer met een geweldige douche. Veel spelletjes aanwezig. Goede mogelijkheid om onze fietsen droog en veilig te stallen.

De kamer was op de eerste verdieping, waardoor je niet zo snel in de (mooie!) tuin gaat zitten, hoewel dit wel gewoon mocht. In de keuken was genoeg servies/bestek aanwezig, maar geen gelegenheid tot koken (vooraf bekend bij ons, dus lekker uit gaan eten).
