Fantastically set up with everything you need. Breakfast was always varied and excellent. Qi was a wonderful host and we would highly recommend staying at Echo Lodge

Really need a car as a bit far from shops and limited good footpaths in area for walking

"Perfect home away from home on the North Shore"

The breakfasts were excellent. Different cooked breakfast available each day, with cereals and toast also available to be used at any time. The location was perfect, close to our son and his family. Rooms were clean and comfortable with a heat pump to ensure the room was warm. Qi is a wonderful host!!!!

I had a wonderful stay at Echo lodge thanks to Qi. She has set up this bed and breakfast which so much thought and care. My room was spacious and light with a very comfortable bed and a good sized bathroom where the shower had great water pressure. It’s great to see she is using eco friendly products in the bathroom too. My breakfast in the morning was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. I loved my stay and will definitely be recommending Echo lodge to others. Thank you again Qi!

My only small note is if you’re a light sleeper I would recommend ear plugs just in case as if some of other guests come to their rooms late they may wake you as all the rooms share the same hallway.

The place had nice views, it was clean and quiet. Qi is a great host, gave us a list of local info (places to visit) and the brekkie is amazing. Nice bedroom with private bathroom, slippers and toothbrush are available. Definitely a good place for relaxing.

A very well appointed stay - the hosts have thought of everything from slippers in the room to chocolates in the kitchen. Even the bath towels were soft unlike some hotels where they are stiff. This is our second stay and will definitely be back. One of the bests breakfasts. A well stocked communal kitchen in the lovely dining lounge area for visitors use is a great idea, cookies, fruit and and array of drinks.
