Oldfields

We were happy to stay with Sue and John at their well appointed home. The space that we lived in was impeccable beautiful gardens surrounded our stay an easy walk to town to eat. in the morning breakfast was magnificent and our conversation was engaging and interesting. It was an excellent choice for us to stay on our journeys across the southern island.

Sue and John were warm and welcoming hosts. We felt well looked after and enjoyed getting to know more about them over breakfast and coffee. The location was handy to town and set back enough from the main street for privacy with a beautiful garden. It was a lovely getaway and excellent value for the experience

Feels like a real home

We liked the gardens, underfloor heating in the bathroom, comfortable bed and beautiful breakfast.

Sue and John were exceptional hosts and made us feel super welcome and comfortable. The breakfast was beautiful - especially the jam which Sue had sourced from Adelaide! The property is peaceful and lovely and the bed comfortable and warm. Shower very good and lovely heated tile floor was much appreciated. Thanks Sue and John it was lovely to meet you.
