We did enjoy our stay in Kingsdown , The room was nice and cosy with all one needs for the night , We were the only Guests that night so we had the place to ourselves . Breakfast was in our fridge and was very good !

A well-appointed bed and breakfast. Well furnished, proprietors are friendly and unobtrusive. Property is in a rural setting a short distance outside of town-just 10 minutes drive from the CBD.

Nice and comfortable room. Lovely place. The Bookings details did not make it clear that the breakfast was not included so Mel kindly gave us a breakfast to make in our room. Hopefully the Bookings description is now clearer

"A beautiful place for a stay in southern New Zealand."

Kingsdown Manor is a beautifully renovated former church which now operates as a wedding venue and B&B. It is located a couple of kms out of Timaru so it is lovely and quiet while very convenient to the town. An excellent breakfast was provided with the luxury of being able to have this in our suite at our own convenience. The bathroom was amazing; beautiful big bath. Our room even had a turret sitting room! Mel was a lovely host with a wonderful attention to detail

There was nothing not to like.
