Lakefront in Pisa

The location on the lake was amazing, we could go for a walk directly from the house. It is clean and spacious

The room was clean and had everything for a short stay. The shower head and water pressure needs improvement, and the kettle needs a good cleaning😅

Nice location by the lake and walking/cycle track. It would be a great spot if you brought your bicycle! The unit seems all very new and is exceptionally clean. The room is completely under the main house, but the upstairs occupants were very considerate and we rarely heard them walking above. It is a wonderfully quiet location! Cleanliness, the bed and the shower, the three most important things in a short-stay. Two out of three were good.

The shower! The bathroom is spacious and well appointed. Nice big shower cubical but terrible shower head. It was obviously designed to be VERY economical with water and sprayed tiny narrow jets of water in random directions. It was totally impossible to have a satisfying shower. To wash shampoo out of your hair, you needed to remove the shower head on its hose and hold it directly against your head, otherwise there was too little water hitting you. Combined with the low water pressure, it was an unpleasant experience. Fortunately, there was a good bathroom heater, otherwise you would freeze. (The shower was also completely cold on the first night, but I think that they replaced the gas tank and was fine the following day, temperature wise). With the simple fix of a decent shower-head, this property would be an 8. The only other negative is that the room is overshadowed by large decks and a room, so the window that gives you a pleasant lake view, never receives any sun.

The host's son was rude and insulting, questioning if i was booked in and stating i needed to move my car. i think he had the room above me and i was awoken at 0730 by thumping music! outside the room there was a strong smell of petrol from various motor bikes, etc. this meant i could not open windows

Location and comfort

Beautiful views. Clean, spacious, modern.

Very much a family home, with laundry, bikes etc. Obscuring the views. Heavy footsteps above . Shower was a bit weak. Would prefer a double bed. You would need to have a car to stay here. Very average beverages.
