O Quintal Guesthouse

Location in the centre of Carvoeiro and only 2 minutes away from the beach. Host was very friendly.

It was expensive for a single room, however the access to a pool and the amazing location made it worthwhile.

Carla and Ligia, the hosts, were absolute sweethearts. I already miss them and the city of Carvoeiro.

This was so nice. Everything was spotless. Free bottle of water and everything else you need. Nice amount of light if you want but could make it dark too. Outside pool. Easy access and excellent location perfect infact. Great staff.

That there was nothing to dry feet like a mat on the step, I slipped down the steps into the apartment one night bruising my back and foot after coming out of the pool, it can get slippery

Quirky but tasteful property close to all the local restaurants, beach and other facilities. Lovely decorated room with nice touches and everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Bed was comfortable, aircon very efficient (5 mins on and room was cool), and shower was warm and powerful. Didn’t use communal kitchen but had everything you might need for some self catering. Outside seating and lounging area with pool makes the best use of the limited space available. Room 4 with its own bathroom was ideal for us.

Would have to be really picky to say didn’t like e.g. fridge was noisy during night but having one is a bonus and could unplug it if not needing to cool anything. Shower had a curtain which was annoying as quite close to where you stand and stuck to you at times. Steps up to first level are small so care needed when going down with cases etc. Didn’t actually see the host and although they were very attentive with messages would’ve been nice for them to have said hello.

Muy linda la habitación y los espacios comunes tsmbien estaban muy bien pensados. La ubicación era privilegiada justo en una de las calles principales en un punto estratégico de la ciudad. Todo muy limpio y nuevo. El alojamiento cuenta con cocina pero sólo usamos la pava eléctrica para calentar agua.
