B&B MANITO

B&B Manito is in fact a number of mini 1st floor apartments in a fairly quiet area of Lavena, c.15 mins walk across the bridge to Ponte Tresa railway station, with frequent trains to Lugano which take just 25 minutes. Very friendly helpful hosts, comfortable bed, useful a/c, good shower, large balcony with seating & garden & mountain views, kitchenette with fridge, coffee machine etc, table & chairs, sofa, lots of storage space. Stylish & attractive decor (each flat is themed & named for different colours: ours was Orange!) Several restaurants & shops nearby. Pleasant walks along lakeside & into hills behind the town. Train, bus & boat trips to Italy & Switzerland. We would happily return for longer.

Breakfast was all sweet & mostly pre-packed: biscuits, cakes & pastries, yoghurt, milk, tea & coffee. Some fresh fruit, cheese & other savoury would be nice. Also, lack of bedside tables & lights: large bed was set into a huge wall unit, so perhaps lights & shelves could be fixed to that or else replace it with a proper bed head (just a suggestion!)

מיקום טוב אבל קצת רועש.

מאוד מאכזב. ראשית הזמנו שני חדרים ל-5 אנשים אבל בסוף אמרו לנו שיש רק חדר אחד גדול ל-5. הכניסה לבנייין לא מזמינה בכלל. הגענו מאוחר ולא היה מי לקבל אותנו למרות שתיאמנו זמן הגעה. המזגן היה חלש מאוד ולא קירר את כל המרחב - היה ממש סאונה בחדר. וגולת הכותרת - ההזמנה כללה ארוחת בוקר. בפועל היה בחדר מקרר עם יוגרט, חלב ומיץ וכמה קרקרים למרוח ריבה. קפה נאלצנו להכין לבד. עבור המחיר ששלמנו זה היה מאוד מאכזב.

Freundlicher Empfang. Bekamen ein geräumiges sehr sauber Zimmer mit einem grossen Balkon. Fürs Frühstück hatte es eine Kaffeemaschine Kleinigkeiten im Kühlschrank und nur wenige Schritte entfernt einen grosser Supermarkt wo man sich zusätzlich noch mit frische Brötchen eindecken konnte. Die Lage liegt Zentral.
