Divers Lodge Guest House

We stayed for only a couple of nights between other destinations, and overall, we had a very good time despite the rain. We really appreciated the staff, who were friendly and genuinely helpful. Since we were leaving at 2 pm and the next guests were arriving later in the evening, they offered us a late check-out, which felt like a treat for us, allowing us to enjoy one last swim! The room and bathroom were clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. We also enjoyed the typical Creole-style breakfast. The location was ideal for us – access to the beautiful Beau Vallon beach is just across the road, and there are some good cafés, bars, and restaurants within walking distance. This was perfect since we hadn't planned to rent bikes or a car at that point. We spent both nights at the Beach Shak. Although we couldn't see the sunset due to bad weather, we enjoyed it very much and loved the vibe and local atmosphere.

Just a few minor things – they didn’t bother us too much, but they’re worth mentioning. If you take the street, be careful of cars as there’s no pavement. We walked back at night as well, and it was fine, but it’s something to be aware of. There’s a small fridge, a kitchen sink, and a kettle in the room. At one point, we wanted to make tea, but the kettle looked very rusty and old, so we decided not to use it. Lastly, some of the towels in the room were quite overused and had holes. Again, not a big deal, but perhaps it’s time for a refresh to match the otherwise great overall experience.

The location was perfect, literally across the road from the beach and you could hear the waves lapping on the shore. Our room was perfect, huge infact with the biggest balcony from where you could see the sea. Lots of wardrobe space, a fridge, sink coffee tea etc. The shower was amazing!!! We seriously cannot find fault with anything, there was parking for our car, the staff were truly accommodating and doint even get me started on the breakfast...just wow!!! If we ever come back to Mahe, Divers Lodge Guest house is where we'll be staying.

The stuff is amazing. Very helpful and attentive. The view from the room is breathtaking.

To get to the restaurants and civilization, one has to walk around 10 mins on the road with the cars. Not convenient.

The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and there was free parking. The breakfast was juice,eggs, fruits, toast and pancakes. The room was cleaned everyday and close to the beach.

Great location to Big Blue Divers and lovely part of the BV beach. A shirt walk to the main town area but not too far. Fantastic ocean / sunset view from upper floor room balcony/bedroom. Nice friendly staff and enjoyable fresh breakfast. Quality shower and bathroom features and decent Wi-Fi in rooms. Helpful, safe parking.
