Bed & Breakfast Tsukiya

The hosts are so lovely and accommodating. You can easily get to this place from GoJo Station or walk 15 minutes from Kyoto Station. Get the breakfast for sure.

It’s over 100 years old so you may hear some outside noise. Honestly it wasn’t enough to bother me.

Gorgeous old Japanese house. Enjoyed the large bath tub. Futons were comfortable and warm. Enjoyed admiring the architectural details and sitting on the outdoor balcony attached to our room

Great bathroom and nice atmosphere

The staff were lovely & very helpful. The bedroom was big with a very comfortable bed, we loved the robes supplied to relax in and mosey around the house. The bathrooms were shared with other guests, were very clean & well maintained with a huge shower room with a bath and a small window out to the garden. Breakfast every morning was a highlight, and staff bought it to our table in our room, and the spread was so lovey! A true insight to a classic morning eat. It was so lovely having staff around during the day to chat to & for recommendations for restaurants and bars. The location was superb, close to the subways for easy access across the city. Would love to go back!
