Very traditional, there is a local onsen right next door! Owner stayed up late for us

The traditional breakfast is really amazing and good. And 花宿民泊’s location is near Furusato-no-yu 麻釜温泉公園ふるさとの湯 and Yu road. For hot spring lovers, it’s very convenient. For skier to go to gondola station. Yu road will be very useful, and there is a locker can store Ski and Boots over night near gondola station which is very convenient, too.

Hospitable, great staff. Average value for location.

The host was super nice and even with a language barrier because my Japanese is not the best we were able to receive all the information we needed. The place was in a great location close to the slopes and close to food and drinks. Rooms were clean and facility was great and it’s a great find for the price in Nozawa. Plus it’s a stones throw away from a very nice onsen. We would definitely stay again.

Great location, 5 min walk to Yu Road (access to Hikage Base Station ski slopes). Near plenty of places to eat. Short walk to bus terminal. Close to Furusato no Yu.

Usage of amenities was initially confusing. The walls were quite thin so we could hear fellow guests.
