The location and view from eating area on top floor exceptional.

The food, very disappointing after our 4 week tour of Sri Lanka, management requires you order supper by 5pm, we did and all dishes except one in mixed vegetable curry served almost cold and lacking in flavour compared to all other meals we experienced. Breakfast was no better, even the coffee is luke warm.

Clean, modern and comfortable rooms, great view over Kandy. Nice rooftop terrace. Staff is friendly and helpful. You have to pay with paypal, which is better than cash payments that many hotels ask.

Construction works opposite of the hotel. Window giving out to the gallery did not close properly, no safe in the room.

The jacuzzi on the balcony was amazing, and the dining breakfast area also had a great view of Kandy.

Although I was the one who booked and paid for the reservation the hotel staff ignored me and would only speak to my boyfriend. I don’t know if it was racism or sexism or both… but it was ridiculous.

Everything! This property is set in the hills and the view we got from our room was beautiful, even in the rain and cloud! From the moment we stepped in, the chef (whose name we never got unfortunately) was so accommodating and friendly. Just a short walk into the centre, it is a good location. We had both breakfast and dinner at Square Peg and we cannot recommend it enough - the dinner in particular was so very delicious - make sure you're hungry enough as there is a lot to go round! Thank you for such a great stay.

Loved our stay here! The hot tub was amazing and the people running the place were helpful and so kind. The hotel is also just designed well. We will stay here again.

it’s very pricy for what you get, it misses hospitality and comfort. a jacuzzi alone won’t do it, a warm welcome, a flower, a bathrobe, I have had more personal and luxurious experiences at lower priced accomodations. but great potential.
