Location to Sigirya is a plus and breakfast is also very good, they can also arrange taxi service if needed, but we have not used it.

Unfortunately the room was not very clean and the bed sheets where a bit stained, the bathroom sink was leaking on the ground so even if closed the floor was still wet. Moreover, there are a lot of wild dogs wandering around the village and it's not rare that sometimes some dog sneaks into the properties and can scare people at night, so if you are a bit sensible on the matter please consider this carefully.

I proprietari sono molto carini, disponibili e hanno offerto un'ottima colazione abbondante e tipica. La stanza era abbastanza pulita e dotata di aria condizionata. Il wifi funzionava bene. La posizione è molto comoda per effettuare le escursioni nei dintorni.

We stayed for 3 nights and it was an excellent choice for the price (around USD 20 per night). The hospitality of the family who runs the place is outstanding – always friendly, helpful, and ready to assist with recommendations, transport, or activities. The location is perfect for visiting Sigiriya and the surrounding area, in a quiet spot but still close to everything. The room and beds are simple but comfortable, matching the price, and the cleanliness was impeccable. A great option for anyone looking for basic comfort, warm hospitality, and unbeatable value for money.
