Dar Lazuli Bed & Breakfast

A traditional Riad in the Medina. Fantastic location, walking distance to beach and port. Interesting to be living the traditional way in a charming room. Good breakfast with homemade yoghurt and “crepes”, breads, honey and spreads, coffee and a choice of teas prepared by Latifa.

No cupboards or wardrobe. However we managed with the hook on the wall and the shelves and felt that we were experiencing the local customs. Steep narrow stairs up to the bed

We stayed here for 3 nights and we wish, we would have had more time here. For us, everything was perfect: a spacious and beautifully decorated and very clean room with everything we needed - there was even a small kitchen! Our room was cleaned and the bed was made every morning, which we appreciated a lot. The Dar Lazuli has many shared spaces, each of them thoughtfully decorated and to make the guest feel cozy and at home. The view from the rooftop is stunning - especially at sun set! The location is perfect - in the old town of Essaouira, but only 5 mins from a parking (if needed). Rachid, who is running the house, is very kind and helpful and we felt very welcome. We can 100% recommend and would stay here again next time. Thank you!

We felt super welcome at Dar Lazuli. Lati and Rashid were very friendly and the place was gorgeous.

Absolutely beautiful and quiet place in the medina. Rachid and gis wife were very kind and polite, the breakfast was excellent and our room was super clean and light

It is a bit hard to find and it would be great to maybe put a sign somewhere on top of the instructions that were shared.

Wonderful staff, cozy apartment that felt like coming home.
