Peaceful country setting. Room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Newly remodelled bathroom. The host served a lovely breakfast. Miriam also picked us up from the train station and delivered us back to Amsterdam the next day for a nominal fee. Far less than what a taxi would have charged us. She went above and beyond.

Our host was friendly and provided us with a delicious breakfast every day.

As there was inadequate noise separation between our unit and the host's living quarters, she asked us very politely not to walk on our floor after 11 pm. This was difficult for us as we usually require multiple trips to the bathroom at night, and we were very uncomfortable knowing that we were probably disturbing her. We also work remotely and our workday does not end until midnight because of the time difference. This keeps us up later as well. So we probably weren't the right guests for her lovely place, much as we appreciated her friendliness and hospitality.

It's clean and confortable, the room is better than in the photos, big enough for a couple. The environment around is great and the location is great if you have a car and you are coming to visit zanse schans and zaandam they are close.

Excellent host. Lovely breakfast and beautiful surroundings.

Prefer en suite bathroom. That said the bathroom is well appointed. Neat and clean and I did know that it was shared.
