Travellers Retreat B&B

Really nice B&B, inside and gardens. Owners were very friendly and accommodating.

I only spent the night there so didn't get to enjoy it as a nice B&B should be enjoyed .. had a busy schedule.

Note that it was the downstairs spare bedroom of a large house, entered through their living and dining room where breakfast was served.

Room was 2single beds, totally adequate but abit smaller than expecting for 2 girls with a bit of luggage!

The Holst was very accommodating and hospitable. She was more than just a host: personable and friendly, as well as helpful and created a relaxed atmosphere. The shared space and outdoor area were beautiful. Our bedroom had a sliding glass door that opened into the backyard with nicely done landscaping and flowers. Truly a retreat! Highly recommend a stay at Travelers retreat B and B!

Fiona & Marcus have a way of making one feel at home, including gathering strawberries, tomatoes & cucumbers from the garden for the evening meal. Dinner completed the eve as a relaxed event, sharing home & travel stories with 2 other self-drive visitors. Would love to make this a hub for several days exploration.
