"We had a really good time after a long day of hiking."

The gîte was very nice. We had towels, blankets and even soap for the shower. The breakfast was good and we had good company during our stay. We can recommend this gîte for a hiking trip.

Beds are good, the showers getting warm very soon. You've got a towel.

It's alligned for french tourists, means they have in general a rental car and stay only one night. For me as a traveller I have to complain: a.) owner speaks no english b.) Hostel is closed.You need a phone to inform the owner that you are arrived c.) There is no locker even if there would be a lot of space to install one and no Alternation -> The owner has no copy key for closing the room. d.) Food was okay (in general a curry with sausage or chicken) , but I guess a little bit pricy.

Excellent property, comfortable bunk bed, dining area, and free parking. Suitable for warm weather only and a nights sleep. Great value and scenery.

Shower and bathroom could do with an upgrade. Building is a collection of rooms with plywood, comfortable only when it’s warm. It gets very cold at night when temperatures drop.

"clean and close to mafate circuit"

Clean room and bathroom/showers close to the start of the Tour of Mafate circuit (10 min drive). Lizian (host) was so kind and helped me (since my rusty French was failing) figure out where I could stay along the trail. Many thanks!

Would’ve been nice to have a microwave or kettle for those (like me) that didn’t book far enough in advance to request food.
