Sunset Apartments Bohinj

Beautifull area of Bohinjska Bistrica, lake Bohinj and the Triglavsky national park !!! Very friendly and kind owner (lady).

Poor cleanliness of the kitchen (accessories). Very nice and spacious terrace, but with view to the owner area.

Great location with shops and restaurants just behind the corner, nice garden with lovely swimming pool.

Everything was great

The apartment is very spacious, we have only two persons. 1. location is good, about 15 mins drive to Vogel ski center; 2. spacious parking place;

1. there is only bathtub, would be good to put some curtain around for better shower;

..DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE, READ THE PREVIOUS NEGATIVE COMMENTS BEFORE, THEY STATE: RUDE OWNER, A MOUSE IN THE FLAT, BASIC FURNITURE. ITS NOT A DELUXE APARTMENT. ITS AN OLD HOUSE WITH WORN OUT FURNITURE..UNFORTUNATELY WE DID NOT READ THE COMMENTS BEFORE SO WE ENDED UP BOOKING IT..UPON ARRIVAL, FIND IT OUT WE SHALL SHARE THE ENTRANCE WITH THE OWNER AND HIS MOTHER..THE HOLE HOUSE WAS SMELLING OF SEWAGE AND OLD SMELLS. THE DECORATIONS ARE REALLY OLD, THE BATHROOM FELT DIRTY AND OLD..AND THE FUNNY THING WAS, WE BOOKED 2BEDROOM APARTMENT, AND THEY CLOSED THE DOOR FOR ONE ROOM..ITS NOT FAIR, AS WE PAID FOR ROOMS..WE COULD NOT STAND THIS " REALITY" SO WE LEFT STRAIGHT AWAY, WE DIDN'T CARE ABOUT OUR 400 EUROS WHICH WE PAID IN ADVANCE, WE SAID ITS WORTH TO LEAVE AND LEAVE THIS PLACE BEHIND.

..on the next morning I got a notification about the owner of the flat has cancelled our reservation..we got so upset, he wanted to put back the flat on the market to make more money, so we wrote to booking.com, but unfortunately they could not understand my point which was : if he cancelled our reservation he should get back our money..they wrote to him, asking him about this, but the owner said its not matching with their policies..This APARTMENT WAS A FAILURE IN OUR 1MONTH STAY IN SLOVENIA, WE WERE LUCKY WITH THE OTHER FLATS, SO BE CAREFUL ITS A SCAM..

very clean & easy to find as we were driving

Spacious appartment, comfortable, around 6-7km away from Bohinj Lake. Quiet surroundings and free parking.

The apartmant itself could be a very nice place if you are travelling with car. Lake Bohinj and a lot of hike opportunities are very close by. The flat is big enough and well equipped. In the garden you can walk up to a very nice viewpoint, from where you can see the surrounding mountains, it is a nice place for morning coffee.

When we arrived at the apartment we realised that there was a leakage in the flat, just the host forgot to inform us in advance. We had a two bedroom apartment, and in one of the rooms the wall right next to the bed was wet and the air inside the room was very stuffy, which is unacceptable. We were very disappointed and we contacted our host, but he was not willing to offer any kind of a solution (like provide an air dehumidifier or smg) or give us any refund. We believe that the affected room should not be rented out until the leakage is fixed and the walls dried out completely. I travel a lot but never experienced such a negative, 'i don't care' attitude from any host. Also, on the opposite side of this wall there was our bathroom, and its wall was covered with black mold. Furthermore, please be aware that sound-proofing is very bad in the building - basically you can hear everything that other people in the flat above you are doing, so we could not rest here or have a proper sleep, you can hear footsteps, loud music, or even if someone is pulling out a chair.
