The location is right on the river and our room had a large terrace overlooking it. The breakfast was very and they do have western options.

"Lovely B&B...in a lovely part of town!"

Really lovely accommodation in a traditional style and beautifully decorated. We had an upstairs room with outside decking overlooking the river. Staff were friendly and helpful...would definitely recommend this small b&b! Good value for money and comfortable rooms with air-conditioning and fridge / kettle etc

Nothing didn't like. Would have been nice to know that omelette / eggs were available for breakfast as staff on first day did not make us aware and we only saw traditional noodle soup options on the menu board they showed us, whilst the paper sheet had more options on it. Whilst they were nice, didn't want to eat that for breakfast. Think this was primarily down to the language barrier.

"Oasis of calm, historically interesting building."

It was like walking into an oasis from the bustling market. Beautiful building. Particularly liked the display of its history. Staff friendly but we struggled with the language barrier. No options for evening meal but there are many nearby restaurants.

Few options for breakfast, but the food was lovely.

Absolutely beautiful. A real gem of a Heritage house. Very special and unique, in a world dominated by cheap IKEA furnitures and standard hotel rooms looking the same all over the world. The minute you step into the Punyashthiti Villa you enter a different world. Very much recommend!

"Superb"

Great location in this charming “village”. This town is not touristic at all and many restaurants don’t speak or have English menus. It was great to explore the town on bicycles from the hotel to see how the locals live. Our room had a balcony facing the river and it was nice to sit out there in the morning and late afternoon.
