Punyashthiti villa

The location was great. Our room was on the ground floor and included a terrace overlooking the river which we really enjoyed. There were no Western options for breakfast but the Vietnamese Pho was very good.

Everything was perfect except: - the breakfast. You had to choose between 3 Thai dishes. I didn't liked that. - the bed. Too hard - the price. 4200baht per night is acceptable in Bangkok, but not in Chantaburi where there are no tourists now

Seclusion of the place.

The in house coffee shop was EXCELLENT. Views from balcony were special. We loved the old town...and even though this was "off season"...there were enough shops and restaurants, bars open to accommodate the very few tourists there. There were some cool places populated by the younger (uni) crowd with live music and an excellent brew pub and beer garden with great live music.

We researched this city, and got recommendations from friends...so the experience exceeded expectations. We had no complaints.

A very unique experience. A great view of the river. A beautifully renovated house, great staff.

The room is VERY small. We had to put suitcase onto the balcony, but that was fine. The breakfast can be improved
