The location to Charlie beach was great, the staff were great, very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious with great options.

In this particular bungalow there was only a fan and it was hot but we still slept comfortably.

200m from a spectacular/idyllic beach, quiet neighbourhood but easy to get a m/cycle taxi to main village. Excursions by boat easily arranged by local bar owner - pick up/ drop off at this beach. B'fast - nothing special but ok. Beginning of low season and so not many people around. Some good eating/drinking places at the beach plus free shades and loungers.

The family room we occupied was very basic; however, it was a very hot room and, with very little water pressure, it was frustrating not to be able to have a proper shower (I had thought that after many complaints - in previous reviews - that the problem may have been sorted). Although we were given an extra fan, after 2 nights of the heat, we asked for a room / unit with a/c........however, this was not possible because we were told that the a/c rooms were not 'pet friendly' (we had our 2 yr old Golden Retriever with us). For Booking.com and the owners, the question is..."how can the resort be advertised as 'pet friendly' ??? ....when it differentiates between rooms/units ! Even so, apparently the water pressure was low in other rooms as well and, as a result, 2 persons in our family group moved into another resort nearby and.......for just 200b more per night, it was worth it. Some aggressive dog groups near the resort although the beach dogs less so.

Booked a room with breakfast included- it was delicious! Less than a 5 minute walk to Charlie beach which has the most beautiful sunsets. Lots of dogs and cats that live around the hostel.

Basic but nice bungalows! We had the 3-bed bungalow with a fan which was a little old, but the newer rooms with AC might be a little better. The restaurant was so great we kept coming back even after we moved to another place. Try the Pad Kra Pao with a fried egg, it was heavenly. The owners are really nice. The location is perfect, just a quick walk to Charlie beach and very quiet. You can even see hornbills in the morning and lots of butterflies. Bonus for the super cute baby cats!

The beds were really super hard. Floor had a lot of gaps so we had a small ant problem and some other visitors. But the staff gave us some spray. Bathrooms are also open at the top so showering without mosquitoes/moths is difficult if you go after dark.
