Tatlı Kaya Cave Otel

Great value for a cave hotel, family owned. Probably quite recent, hence the few reviews, but we are very happy. Location is not in goreme so you need a car, but it is very near the open air museum and rose valley, so quite convenient

You need a car, breakfast is minimal, which is understandable since it is family owned but below standard compared to what we have tried elsewhere

You can’t actually see the hot air balloons from the hotel and the room was more little than it looks on the pictures.

The room is huge and gorgeous, exactly as in the pictures! It's a small hotel, with 5 rooms only, but huge terrace on the top, with beautiful view. I believe it's a family run hotel and the owners are very welcoming and friendly. Very nice village style home-cooked breakfast and absolutely amazing mint jam :) Very nice feature to have Jacuzzi-bath in the room.

Not a minus, just a notice: - I guess its common for cave hotels, but you can hear very well what neighbors are doing... especially if they are with kids. - Shower & WC looks very cool, but you have to be very comfortable with your partner, because it's literally in the room with just a glass doors.

Location is very good, going to tiger places by car max 10 min.

The rooms were beautifully designed.

The breakfast provided was awful and unhygienic

Location is peaceful. We had a good stay. The host was very kind. He let us store our luggage after check out until our bus departure time. Breakfast was delicious.
