Jia Ying Beach Resort B&B

Location is amazing, right next to the beach and very close walking distance to the train station. Upon arrival, we upgraded our room to one with a window facing the ocean (for an additional fee, but very reasonable in my opinion) -- note this might depend on availability, since the original room listed on booking.com does state no window. It was so nice to wake up and watch the beauty of a sunrise on the ocean! Room had AC, mini fridge, TV, towels, water boiler with tea/coffee packets, and some amenities. FYI found out that breakfast is no longer served/offered ever since covid, at least from our stay in August 2023.

Can't think of anything but heads up there isn't much going on around the Waiao train station area at night (which was fine for us!). There are only a few food places that are open, so if looking for food options you can take a short ride to the next town, or pack snacks/food to bring.

The owner did not specify the room we booked here is without a window, and also still showcases the unrealistic photos on this site. Additionally, the price of this room is not worth 2500 ntd

The rooms are new and clean and if you booked a room with a window you can have a nice sea view. The hotel staff is very friendly. Make sure you book a sea view room as other rooms might face a busy road or don’t have a window

When I arrived I learned that I booked a room without window. The host offered me a better room with a sea view for an extra charge. It is no problem but it would be nice if the host would make this more clear on the website. It is only written in the bottom of the room description which you might not see if you use the app. The lighting in the room is not nice and only on one side of the room. I found the prices a bit too high for a home stay but overall it was fine.

2500 nt only apartment without windows and it was very difficult to understand this information on App because just have one photo about this room and have thousands nice photos about expansive rooms. Than we paid extra money to get ocean view and better room , looks like a trick .
