I paid for deluxe double room and was given basic room, photos are used here of deluxe room but they have basic ones too and they assign you that, next day morning there was a shower leak and flooded whole bathroom and bedroom, I had no hot water through out my stay and water pressure was very low. Also, when I complained about it, Owner Christina, she was rude and was threatening me to sue if I write a review, very scary person

Oke hotel voor een doorreis. Flexibel en vriendelijk personeel. Kamer was oke, wat aan de vieze kant (beddengoed en spinnenwebben).

The Staff, the great day trip that was organized for us … and the food!!

We had a warm and heartfelt welcome at Christina House. The dinner was made especially for us by two lovely women from the local area, and served to us by Eric, who gave us a charming and informative lowdown on the origins of each dish. I can’t describe how delicious and nourishing the food was. It tasted like it was made with love and care. The pumpkin soup, was an absolute knockout, so delicate and comforting. The dinner felt like a gentle ceremony of some kind. We invited Eric to sit with us for a while and had a stimulating and genial conversation, what an interesting and impressive person. The gardens are gorgeous, and abundant with flowers and a friendly kitten.

Breakfast was very good, was a nice selection to get our day started. It was also in a great location to start our trip. Was simple and the staff was friendly.

It was a little hard for us to find the place when we arrived. The staircase to the room was also up some cracked boards which made it difficult to carry our suitcase. (But the staff helped us out!)

staff looked after our every need and food was great. would definitely recommend. thanks so much Christina and Gerard, you were both wonderful

Arriving from the dusty street entering to this beautiful oasis. The staff are so friendly, the food is super delicious and Christina even took her time to sit down and talk while we were eating pilau, ugali, Mdori, makande and other amazing local dishes. Located a bit from Arusha city center but you can go by daladala from Maizini directly to Chama for only 500 shilling per person.

It is difficult to tell as the place is calm but not well maintained

No generator and the electricity was problematic. No internet despite the fact that the owner promised to provide this. The description on the location is not accurate.
