Historical clean comfortable friendly staff

Stairs are a little challenging with luggage, no elevator it is an historic building and they are installing a chair lift for the stairs.

Lovely, comfortable. Enjoyed the movies and games at night.

The lift needs to be fixed. We won’t stay again if it’s not fixed. Too hard and hazardous for seniors. Milk in fridge was outdated and cereal stale.

Great location on a street corner. Eats and ice cream within 1 block walking distance. The underground tavern was a very pleasant experience with lots for anyone who likes older historic places.

Not having a paranormal experience like we had hoped for...maybe next time we stay something could happen 😎

The old building was kinda cool.

The hotel was in the middle of nowhere, and the restaurant was not open; the cafe in town was also not open. Would have been helpful to have ANY info on Booking.com or the website to let us know the hours of the restaurant. The breakfast was all pre-packaged garbage; nothing that would classify this place as a Bed and Breakfast. Nothing that would even be classified as breakfast except packet oatmeal or cereal. The suite we booked was not private; the kitchen was in the hallway shared by the housekeeper, which was not disclosed in the booking information. The room itself had a very strong odor, like pet urine. Intensely off-putting. I did not realize the staff would have to meet us there to check in; when our trip had unexpected delays, the hotel staff made sure to let me know they were doing me a favor by being there so I could check in. Wasn't there for the guilt trip.

Room was clean and bed comfortable. Temperature was great.

Bathroom was not stocked. No shower gel and not enough towels and washcloths. Kitchen had no dish soap. No drinking water for the coffee maker. No spoons to eat cereal and fruit cups.

Awesome place! We had a good time at the saloon and toured underground. The staff were so friendly! We love our rooms, parlor, and kitchen. They had many antiques which we enjoyed seeing. Very historic!

It was a great value in a restored historic hotel. The rooms were decorated in period authentic antiques, but the amenities had modern bathrooms and plenty of electrical outlets. The beds were comfortable. The staff was amazing.

The dining room was only available one weekend a month.
