Engvadonia Yosemite B and B

Our stay was delightful and the room was cozy and quiet. Steve and Nickey were very kind to welcome us into their lovely home. The house was pristine . Nickey made us a delicious breakfast and Steve give us useful tips to visit Yosemite National Park.

Steve and Nickey were lovely people! We discoverd breakfast buritto’s thanks to Nickey en got some great tips for visiting Yosemite from Steve. We could use the kitchen, the patio… We really felt at home! The room and bathroom were very clean and Cosy. Quiet place, surrounded by nature.

The hosts were really attentive and helpful. Wonderful place to stay.

Nickey and Steve was so welcoming, and they helped us make the most of our Yosemite plans. The room was comfortable and charming, and we had a nice breakfast and chat like a real old fashioned B&B. Yosemite was only an hour’s drive to the valley, and they really knew how to advise us to make the most of our time there.

A wonderful place in complete silence. Perfect for exploring Yosemite Park. Perfect for relaxing after days of hiking, away from the hustle and bustle and crowded camps. Owners, Nickey in particular is a very hospitable, friendly and nice person. And the house is beautiful and very well-kept.

Rooms, service and location was perfect. We stayed for two nights at Engvadonia with Steve, Nickey and their dog Cheyenne to discover the area around Mariposa, but especially go hiking in Yosemite. Both are very friendly and helpful and had their own separate area in the house. Our sleeping room, bath room, living room and kitchen were clean and we felt home. Also the breakfast was delicious. The best thing was the amazing air, as Engvadonia B&B is located in nature, close to Mariposa (next town) and we could see in the night thousands of stars. We can definitely recommend this place. If you are in Mariposa definitely stopp for Coffee or drink at „Sticks Coffee“ and for lunch or Dinner at „1850“ restaurant.

Breakfast was wonderful! Nickey made eggs, bacon and hashbrowns every morning and was accommodating to my dietary needs.

Nothing! Everything was absolutely wonderful.

We had a lovely stay. Nickey and Steven were great hosts. They were so generous, chatty, full of information about Yosemite and even invited us for dinner one night too. Breakfast was varied and delicious every day - lots of options. It was around an hours scenic drive to Yosemite which we found very manageable. Overall, their home was very homely and we didn’t want to leave!
