Swallow Cove

This review is actually for the Cottage at Pine Tree Inn, owned by Sidney. We originally reserved at Swallow Cove but due to an unexpected development, we were upgraded to the Cottage at Pine Tree (the owners of the 2 B&Bs are related and cooperate in situations like this). The upgrade to the Cottage was a great deal economically because it is bigger and we did not have to pay extra - so, we were very happy with the upgrade ! The Cottage has 2 beds, is spacious, very clean and comfy, and very quiet, peaceful, and private - with parking right in front. Acces was very easy with door code. There is a microwave, small fridge, toaster, coffeemaker, dishes, glasses, cups, and cutlery - but no kitchen as such or stove. However, for our needs it was perfect. The Cottage also had a nice TV and good internet connection. Lastly, Sidney was an great host, friendly without being intrusive, communicated easily, and cooked great breakfasts, all fresh - and was very accomodating to dietary restrictions and even preferences in terms of what she prepared for breakfasts. There was a different breakfast each day and the variety was nice. We stayed 2 nights while visiting Cathedral Gorge and several other state parks in the area - and all these parks are very nearby, so Panaca is an ideal base for that. Overall, and on all counts, we really loved the Pine Tree Cottage and would reccomend it very highly - it met and exceeded our expectations. We feel very lucky to have been upgraded to such lovely alternative accommodations that perfectly met our needs.

Nothing. I suppose providing a can opener would have been a nice added touch, but not a problem because b we had our own.

Mooie ruime cabin. Kregen wel een upgrade omdat er geschoven moest worden met onze cabin die in eerste instantie geboekt werd en schijnbaar kleiner is. Daardoor is de prijs/kwaliteit niet reëel. Wij hebben de origineel geboekte cabin niet gezien. Communicatie ging met SMS/telefoon ter plaatse.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise und wollten den Cathedral Gorge State Park besuchen. Da war die Übernachtung im Guest House ideal. Unkomplizierte Schlüsselübergabe und mit Liebe eingerichtetes Ferienhäuschen.

Als Optimierng würde ich einen kleinen Tisch in den Raum stellen, damit man bequem essen kann. Schön wäre auch ein kleiner Sitzplatz direkt vor dem Ferienhäuschen.

No TV in room , no one in person to greet you
