Kilauea House

Loved everything. Location right next to Volcanoes NP. Communicative hosts and easy check-in. Plenty of space. Quiet. Comfortable. In our entire two-week island hopping Hawaii holiday, Kīlauea House was the most comfortable and thoughtful place we stayed. The breakfast was 100% the best with variety of options (including healthy and gluten-free for my celiac wife) and provided ahead of time in the room, which meant we could eat a little something before we left early to see the sunrise in the park and then a bit more upon returning before checking out. Dean and Pam were very kind hosts. If we ever end up on this island again this will be the first place we look for.

Pam and Dean were excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful. Everything was spotless, bed was very comfy. Breakfast was great, Pam had everything we needed for breakfast and snacks! Will definitely stay there again if in the area!

No complaints. The only thing we didn't like was having to leave!

This little B&B exceeded our expectations in every way. The room was spotless and had plenty of space for our few days in the Volcano area. It was also extremely quiet and private, it felt like we were outside of time while we were here, but it also wasn't so far off the beaten path that we couldn't quickly get into the Park or 'town' for dinner. The breakfast and snacks in the room also went above and beyond, I'm gluten intolerant and Pamela made sure to find some amazing treats for me. We had more than enough for breakfast to add to what we brought to fuel our explorations of the Park. Pamela and Dean were also wonderful hosts, they met us when we got in and made us feel immediately like family.

The hosts were wonderful and greeted us when we arrived. After a wonderful - and informative - conversation, we made our way to the room. It was delightful. No detail was overlooked and we would definitely recommend.

Very cute and clean room. The owners were very nice and I had some good discussions with them on where to go around town.

Me encantó la sensación tan acogedora de la habitación/apartamento. Y el porche al jardín.Te daban ganas de quedarte allí todo el día.

Quizás puede poner menos cantidad de desayuno, pero reponerlas al día siguiente para que no estén duras o pasadas a las 48h. Para mi gusto mejor más pan del día y menos dulces.

Kilauea House is a fantastic little place to stay for a quiet, peaceful getaway. It includes an exceptional breakfast and all the homely little touches to make it feel like home. Best nights sleep since we landed in Hawaii! ❤️🌺

We loved staying just outside the park, in a quiet, secluded neighborhood. For a bed & breakfast site, these hosts went above and beyond!
