Rancho Milagro Bed & Breakfast

Good location. Very nice breakfast and breakfast room. Our room was clean.

Check-in was a bit difficult as the directions were not very clear on finding the location (simply saying "you need to open and go through the closed gate would have helped). and we needed to call to get Stephen to direct us to our room. The room was OK but extremely noisy due to the wind on the flu of the wood stove making a racket all night. Also, the gate was broken and very difficult to open to get into the property - this was repaired after I reported it.

Great location to get out of into the ranching countryside. Comfortable bed and outdoor porch as well as a patio on the other side of the rooms. Very quiet. Animals on the property wander freely which for those who are not bothered by the large and small occupants on the ranch, is part of the texture of the real place. Having a separate common house for 24 hour use was great. Food and drink were there 24 hours and you could take the breakfast there or in your room. The price was right for what the facility offered.

Room needed maintenance (light bulb, plumbing) and deeper cleaning. We're used to tracking in dirt and gravel as we live on a rural piece of property but our room need some attention.

Absolutely beautiful surroundings. So peaceful! Wonderful view of the sunset and sunrise from our room. Room decor was great. Loved the animals, especially the horse (not sure of her name) who was the self appointed greeting committee, standing next to the house like she knew we were coming! Then muzzling me. So sweet!

Breakfast common room was freezing and although we turned on the heater, the room didn't warm up much.

Loved the animals, so close to elgin wineries, loved the vast sky and the feeling of being on a friendly ranch.

Being on vast ranch land there seems to be a slight layer of dust everywhere, but really thats all i can think of

Common area was nice but very dusty. Lots of dirty dishes. Microwave didn't work. No ice. No bottled water.

Extremely loud heaters. Had to turn off the heat to sleep.
