Breakfast was typical southern breakfast, it was on point. Rooms were fantastic, I personally like old fashioned quality made furniture. The mattress was top quality which gave a restful and comfortable sleep. We asked and they gave us a tour of house which was very well accepted. After breakfast everyone sat around a big table a chatted away for over an hour. We felt as if it was one big happy family young and old. Loved the stay!!!

Loved every aspect of our stay. The history, the decor, the host, and the breakfast were all wonderful.

The house and its grounds are beautiful and historic. The guest and common rooms, and entire house were impeccably appointed and decorated. Our stay was quiet and truly relaxing. Ms. Lynn is the perfect hostess, and an outstanding representative of southern hospitality. She provided us interesting and useful information about Starkville and places to visit while we were there. Ms. Lynn is also an outstanding chef. Each breakfast was delicious, and we were lucky enough to be able to enjoy the best grits we have ever tasted!

Lynn was such an accommodating host! I had an early departure for an art show and she made us hot breakfast sandwiches to take with us since we would be missing breakfast. So sweet! She also had a delicious cinnamon cake waiting in the lobby for the guests. Mom and I enjoyed a slice with a cup of coffee while we sat outside under the string lights deciding where we would go for dinner. Location was just right down the road from restaurants and the event we had to be at, yet was scenic and quiet. We had a great stay and will definitely be back!
