Couture Farm at Millstone Hill

Nothing! It was like a scene out of a horror movie.

Everything. I’m sorry but it gave me a female (and my female friend) the creeps. Didn’t look anything like the picture that is on your sight. It was dark, it was low-lit, it was desolate and the houses all around were run down & full of junk.

I really like our host. He was so nice.

The beds were not that comfortable and a TV would have been nice.

The location was the only good part of this property.

We arrived to be greeted by a dog, One of the reasons we booked this B&B was because it did not accept pets. As soon as we entered the house every part of it absolutely stank of dog. We were shown to our room which had not been serviced from the previous guest to find a cat on the bed. The house is an interesting pre-1950's time-warp, this includes the furniture of which a lot is warn out & similarly the bedding & bed. Breakfast was served 1/2 mile up the track in a barn. Although the housekeeper was originally present, she soon disappeared without telling us the procedure. There were 9 of us at breakfast, on the table was a small bowl of fruit to share, a yoghurt & a muffin each, we eventually found some more food & coffee in the kitchen area, but by the time my wife went in the coffee filter jug was empty, with no visible means of replenishing it.

Nice room with a clean bathroom.

The bed was a little wonky. It should probably be replaced. There were fresh muffins for breakfast and a great fruit salad, but it would have been nice to have some eggs as well.

Location relative to the goal of the trip. It was quaint— like staying at at Grandma’s farmhouse. Good breakfast.

If I didn’t have GPS, I doubt that I could have found it.

Very good. Everything.fresh muffins were excellent.

To be able to make coffee in room. And air condition. Room was stuffy.
