The bed was two twin mattresses pushed together, so you had a huge lump in the middle. Not great for a couple that likes to snuggle.

The inn was close to town and near areas we planned to explore during a trip through Vermont. The owner and his sister were friendly and helpful. We felt at home in their home. After we saw the barn, I would have definitely preferred staying there over the main house, but we needed a room not requiring a lot of stairs.

Breakfast was disappointing. It really was a continental breakfast of muffins, fruit, yogurt, tea and coffee. I expected a full breakfast based on previous reviews and my stays in other bed and breakfast inns. My mother who traveled with me has diabetes, and she really should not have eaten anything offered at breakfast. It should be noted in the description that the breakfast is carbohydrates only.

To stay a part of daily live of the region is really pretty! The owners are kind and full of attention! Super!
